BOLD LANDSCAPES - Canterbury Edition

Bold Landscapes Canterbury Edition is the next step from the original Bold Landscapes - First Edition. This time round it is a focus on Canterbury places within New Zealand. The design style has remained the same but with more refinement, be it in colour, shape, or layering/perspective.

It is a play-on-words approach

The design themselves featuring bold shapes/colours and the phrase "bold landscape". The series has a resemblance to old travel posters but with a contemporary twist.

The series was very fortunate to have been in a self titled exhibition at the Chamber Gallery, Rangiora

Audiences gathered from all over Canterbury to visit Bold Landscapes 2022, the engagement was inspiring and the responses were in large numbers. People not only enjoyed the works but the vibe that the space gave too.

The added grand piano and old lamp stand made for a great setting, plus the old building with it's stained glass dome ceiling complimented the whole exhibition.

The most important thing about these works is that people have an attachment or they resonate with the places.

Note: the expo has now finished (9th Oct - 3rd Nov 2022)
