Blackbird specialises in videography and is based in Christchurch, New Zealand. 

 

Blackbird's niche is covering sking and adventure sports, working with the likes of Mt. Hutt, Coronet Peak, The Remarkables, and Mint Tours. Their projects have also covered other major industries within New Zealand.

 

Over the past 5 years Blackbird has filmed internationally for similar projects and short films. Looking for a fresh approach and to tie in with Blackbird’s main industries to film, the creative drive steered towards ski and skate culture.

 

Drawing inspiration from graphics that comes with those industries. Researching into ski/snowboard/skateboard graphics, stickers, merchandise, print material, clothing and tags. The refresh of the brand meant an expansion into a stronger range of brand awareness especially across social media and digital platforms. Since the release, merchandise including clothing and printed material has been sold.
